Poschiavo, 1014 m.

The town of Poschiavo is the capital of the Puschlav region.

If you take a look at the town from a distance then you will notice the 3 churches, that tower high above the town, which make up a very characteristic image. Poschiavo is a quite little town but is important for the Rhaetian railway. Here almost all the rolling stock of the Bernina Bahn is maintained. The depot is situated directly across the station. Sometimes it is possible to get a tour through the halls by depot chief, "Mr. Bernina" Who is a very enthusiastic guide.
